Inland Capital is a private money lender providing property investors with funding for their investment real estate projects. We help fill a need in the current industry and aim to provide quick capital on properties that may not fit traditional lenders financing models.
Our goal is to help real estate investors stay successful by providing a reliable and quick funding source for their transactions. We work to ensure our borrowers have the highest profit potential on their investments while focusing on quality customer service.
Our customers are important to us. We want them to have strong, financial support whenever they need it in order to have an excellent borrowing experience. Financing the purchase of real estate should not be the most difficult part about the transaction. We want to make it easier.
Growing up in Seattle, Aaron was part of a “real estate family.” His parents and grandparents were involved with property management and rental property investments. Aaron started his real estate career assisting first time home buyers purchasing homes in the greater Puget Sound area. While working as a real estate agent, Aaron met his business partner and began purchasing and selling distressed single-family homes. Since their initial partnership, Aaron and his partners have purchased and sold over 200 investment properties. In 2006, Aaron moved with his family to Spokane and began assisting investors with buying and sell foreclosure homes. In 2008, Aaron saw an opportunity to help investors finance their investment acquisitions and started Inland Capital, LLC. When he is not busy with work, Aaron enjoys time with his wife and children. They spend quality time at the lake, boating, golfing and snow skiing in the winter. He’s also very involved with activities with his church family.
John was born and raised on Long Island, New York. However, he has now called Washington state home for the past 20 years. John moved west and attended the University of Montana where he majored in Computer Science. Upon graduation, John went to work for Boeing. John initially began selling real estate part-time with the goal of assisting his friends and family with their real estate needs. After John was introduced to his business partner, they began purchasing properties at the foreclosure auction. Since 2003, John has focused on assisting investors in purchasing all types of real estate and building real estate portfolios for his companies. In 2008, John and his partners saw a demand for short-term distressed property financing. Together they formed Inland Capital, LLC. When John is not busy at work, he enjoys dirt biking, camping, skiing, golfing, as well as basketball officiating.
Jason grew up in Medical Lake, WA a small town outside of Spokane. He graduated from Eastern Washington University where he studied Government and Business Administration. He is also a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School. Jason entered the financial services industry in 1998, as a part-time teller with Sterling Savings Bank, while working his way through college. Over the next 17 years, he served as a Branch Manager, Commercial Banker, VP of Special Assets Operations & REO Management and VP as Commercial Real Estate Servicing Manager. Jason joined the Inland Capital team, in 2016, to assist in Inland’s mission of being a reliable and quick funding source for real estate investors. Outside of work, Jason’s passion is loving his wife, 3 daughters, and son along with serving his church family.
Landon was born and raised in the Seattle area but has called Spokane home since 2009. He started college in the Seattle area and transferred to Eastern Washington University where he graduated Cum Laude in Business Administration and Economics. While in college Landon began working in real estate and purchased his first investment property in 2009. Landon’s focus with Inland Capital is making sure borrowers have all the resources they need to close transactions in the quickest and most efficient manner possible. His core values are honesty, integrity, and providing quality customer service. Since 2013, Landon has been a co-owner of Citibrokers Real Estate. Landon has assisted investors in purchasing over 400 properties at trustee sales since 2013. Landon has been married since 2011 and has two daughters. When not working, he enjoys spending time, golfing, boating, skiing, and most outdoor activities.
Ty was born and raised in Montana. Prior to joining Inland Capital in October 2014 he resided in Missoula, MT and operated his own small business accounting and tax practice. Ty studied Business Management and Accounting at the University of Montana. Over the past 25 years, he has been involved in corporate management, accounting, and finance, business ownership, business consulting and mortgage lending. Ty’s past experiences and passion for small business is what drives his successes and makes a great addition to the Inland Capital team as Financial Controller. Ty oversees all daily accounting operations. When not at work Ty enjoys snow skiing, dirt biking, physical fitness as well as outdoor photography.
Becky grew up in Central California and moved to Spokane WA in 2003 to attend Whitworth University where she graduated with a Business degree in Organizational Management. Becky began working at a local bank in Spokane in 2010 as a part-time teller, and also worked as a Personal Banker, Assistant Branch Manager, Commercial Loan Assistant and Cash Management Specialist. She came to Inland Capital in 2018 as an Operations Specialist and completes underwriting, operations, and processing loans. Outside of work, Becky enjoys spending time with her husband and 4 daughters, as well as being involved with her church family and foreign exchange student programs.
Melissa Wells is a Washington State native, she went to Eastern Washington University to pursue a degree in education with an emphasis in Spanish and Music. After her time at Eastern she became a flight attendant and worked in Alaska and Seattle, she spent 7 years traveling the US. Melissa began to pursue a career in the finance sector and worked at Inland Northwest Bank for 12 years. The first 6 years there she was a commercial loan assistant, she worked her way up the ladder and became a credit analyst and excelled at this position for the rest of her time at INB. Melissa is joining Inland Capital as an Accounting Specialist and will be assisting Ty Rembe and the accounting department. Outside of her work, Melissa is a wife and the mother of two beautiful little girls, her family loves to spend time outdoors in a true PNW fashion.
Growing up in North California, Jake graduated with a Social Science degree from Simpson University in Redding California in 2007. He then went on to complete his teaching credential at the same University in 2011. Three years later, Jake and his wife Kristen moved back to Spokane, her hometown, to be closer to family. Over the years, Jake has taught a variety of junior high and high school subjects, including Economics, History, and English. While teaching, Jake would also work in the service industry, where you could have seen him at Red Robin, Dutch Bros, Starbucks, and more. You can currently catch him at Brick West Brewing on the weekends. When Jake is not working, he enjoys traveling, lake time, BBQing, and riding his electric scooter all over town.
Wil was born in Vancouver, B.C. and moved to Spokane at a very young age. He spent his early years in the heart of the Pacific Northwest and has been in Spokane ever since. Recently graduating from Eastern Washington University, Wil studied Economics and Philosophy, two subjects that quickly became his passions. Wil is starting his career at Inland Capital as a Data and Systems Specialist, working with Ty and Melissa to create an optimal accounting experience. Outside of work, Wil enjoys competing in games, discussing philosophy, writing, and caring for his friends and family.
